Thanksgiving

Wonderful. Cass and I had a great time going to two turkey dinners, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. On Saturday we had a potluck with other grad students, Cass made a couple amazing pumpkin pies and a stupendous apple pie. I made some delicious cranberry sauce.

Cassandra's family ordered us a lovely bouquet.

The apple pie ready for the oven. The crust almost didn't cover the top.

A baked and un-baked pumpkin pie with two containers of my homemade cranberry sauce.

Delicious.

On Sunday we went to my friends house where she prepared the whole turkey meal. She did a great job. She made a great big 16 lbs turkey with all the trimmings and made an awesome stuffing with wild rice and cranberries. To devour the turkey as well as the apple and pecan pies she invited a gathering of 8 CFAs or Come From Aways, we had a great time.

Now that I have spent the whole weekend stuffing myself and procrastinating from work I better study for my Business mid-term on Friday and write my essay for English. I hope everyone at home had a great weekend, I get jealous of the weather every time I look at the forecast.
